Turntablist extraordinaire, DJ Yoda, is set to release a brand new four-track EP taken from his exclusive album sessions on A-Skills’ Jam City label entitled DJ Yoda and Friends EP.
After his groundbreaking Stop, Look & Listen Tour which saw DJ Yoda conquer the BFI IMAX, he is now releasing an exclusive new EP – DJ Yoda and Friends EP – on April 11
On A-Skillz’s Jam City label, the tracks are taken from his forthcoming album sessions, where he collaborated with his label manager, Hervé, Nick Thayer and Kormac.
A-Skillz has done it all from plying his turntable abilities at clubs and festivals across the world to producing his own tracks and helping mould others. Similarly, Joshua ‘Hervé’ Harvey has created club smashes under various guises and collaborated with some of the most exciting players in the scene including Fatboy Slim to create 2010’s ‘Machines will do the Work’.
Nick Thayer is an Australian DJ/Producer who has already won the support of Kissy Sell Out (Radio 1), the Stanton Warriors and Utah Saints amongst others, off the back of his debut album which he released in May, ‘Just Let it Go’. Equally, Irishman Kormac has been causing quite a stir since he broke in 2007, with the release of his album ‘Word Play’, on Scribble Records, his radio show and club night Bakesale, which hands out free lemonade and cake. This combination can only be a recipe for success.
